Lack of information about containerd deployments

in the README we have example docker run command which contains:
--volume=/var/lib/docker/:/var/lib/docker:ro \

for the kubernetes clusters where containerd is the main runtime, do we need this mount? it should be mounted as /var/lib/containerd? what it is needed for?
