Does the remote install all local plugins when using Codespaces on VS Code?

I have created many profiles locally, such as React and Python.

Now I want to code remotely, but when I connect to the remote using the VS Code Codespaces plugin, it automatically downloads all my plugins (regardless of profile) to the remote, requiring me to rewrite all the plugin configurations.

Is there a switch or option to control which plugins are installed remotely?
