Trigger rerun of failed checks through API

In the GitHub UI, there's a button for re-running only the failed checks for a PR.

It fires off a request like this:

  --data-raw '_method=put&authenticity_token=m_xxx&only_failed_check_runs=true'

Is there a way to accomplish similar behavior through the GitHub API somehow?

I found this but it does not have anything about failed checks only.
