As someone who has both Deuteranopia (red/green color blindness) and Tritanopia (blue/yellow color blindness), I wonder if you could explain the decision to split the single option into two options?

Maybe it's not directly tied only to the colour blind theme. In the notification area, I struggle to distinguish between open and closed issues easily.

Would it be possible to change the icon for the closed tickets in the overview to a checkmark without encircling them?
