Allowing GitHub as a backup for your application can provide several benefits, such as Version Control, CI/CD, and collaborations, and easy integration with a lot of hosting websites, etc. |

I highly recommend you check the Git Book, the first three parts of chapter 1 describe what version control and Git specifically are for: https://git-scm.com/book/en/v2 Git is not a general backup tool, and trying to use it as one is probably not going to make anyone happy. 😅 But for things where using Git makes sense, mostly source code and writing in plain text files (e.g. Markdown, LaTeX), pushing to a remote repository will create an external copy. |

Body
Would it benefit me to allow github as a backup and or would someone be so kind to analytically explain the extent of this app. I ask this question because I have so much happening and I'm going to attach so you may see what I'm talking about and perhaps pointers or guide me.
