Codespaces permissions error EACCES

Suddenly, I cannot save changes to a file in Codespaces. I get the following:
Failed to save 'block.html': Unable to write file 'vscode-remote://codespaces+choganhof-code50-106641256-g4v4xj67pf9547/workspaces/106641256/csfinal/templates/block.html' (NoPermissions (FileSystemError): Error: EACCES: permission denied, open

I am not doing anything any differently than before, but now my code changes are being ignored.
Any ideas?

I'm seeing this too, i can't write to /tmp

Our current workaround is to run this on post create
